OH YOU, SCUMBAG YOU.

Oh, no.
no red card
I know it wasn´t a red card but to see the reaction on facebook when something doesnt go in favor of united is just hilarious.
Well, it was a red card but it shouldn't have been, and although anger is directed towards the ref, it's the rule book that's fucked up.

And yeah facebook is always fun lol.

common sense is not common
Parent
hilarious is to watch the reaction of someone on facebook

red card was totally deserved, a shame to see such low+ actions

#PaisleyTheKingOfEurope

btw. red card for Rafael,anyone?
Parent
Real undeserved win imho :P. ManU had more and better chances and i'm not sure if it was a faul for red card(75% for yellow and 25% for red).
But it's football so mistakes happens and if Utd scored in 50% of their chances, they would win it.
#visca el barca
In what universe are u living?
Parent
100% red card. it's not mortal kombat.
dude, what a polish know about football? footix
Parent
About as much as they know about tzac ;)
Parent
Doesn't take a genious to see that the fault made was pure red card, u just cant go some karate kid at games like that.
Parent
what does this even mean? the fuck you are from some shit country luxembourg that scores 1 goal per year , so just eat shit and don't you even dare talking to me anymore.
Parent
come clean my room for 2€ bro ? :DD

a polak telling that luxembourg is a shit country, u definitely made my day :D
Parent
red card, unless fly kicking is allowed.
Obviously not a red card. The only way it might have been is if Nani was looking to injure, but he didn't take his eyes off the ball even like 3-5 seconds before he went to the air. Normally when you give out red cards in CL as a referee in a crucial match such as this more than 30 minutes before the game is over you ask the point of view of the other refs to be absolutely sure, he had the red card out immediately after they fell on the ground...

99% of the players in Nani's position would do the same thing trying to control the ball.

I'm extremely butthurt at the moment, but you have to admit it looks really fishy, and definitely screwed up an otherwise entertaining game.
He didn't give him instantly red card, he was waiting for him to pick up from ground, and nigga pls, kicks like that have nothing to do on the pitch, u cant go on the ball with a meter high kick.
Parent
The game I saw he had the red already in his hand while he was walking towards Nani and Arbeloa who were on the ground, and raised it when Nani got up.
Parent
And could easily get changed if the side refs would disagree on his decision.
Parent
There is something very convenient which is a part of a human body and called a "head". It is usable in football when the use of a leg kick is... forbidden?
Parent
Why do people find it impossible to understand that the only way he could have controlled that ball is by jumping with his leg and foot stretched forward? Just watch the whole thing, not the 2 seconds with Nani's foot in the air. He didn't turn his head once to see Arbeloa charging before jumping, he had assumed he was going for the ball. You give red only when there is clear intention to injure.

These kind of plays happen very frequently in every major league, as a ref you either give yellow or just a foul for it.

I'm not a manU or Real fan by the way but it totally ruined the game yesterday for me and many others.
Parent
You have to make sure/know that if you want to try such a move to get control of the ball, nobody is around because it is dangerous. He didn't do it on purpose, didn't see him, etc. BUT since he wasn't alone, he played too dangerously for only a yellow.
Parent

20 times more horrible and obvious kick and he got yellow. Not saying they are connected in any way, but my point and I think I'm starting to repeat myself is that a red is awarded if there is intention to injure, hell even a yellow might have been harsh. Red is completely out of the question. By your saying Nani should have let that ball go to Arbeloa and pass up a really good position for a counter.

edit: I'm pretty sure Mourinho and co. saw that as a very bad decision as well, they didn't celebrate at all.
Parent
Only giving a yellow to De Jong was obvioulsy an ugly mistake from the ref. And I don't think the intention to injure should prevail over the risks that such actions can bear. Arbeloa was the first on the ball, Nani was late, too bad for him.
Parent
Idd, De Jong should have get that time clear red, no questions asked.
Parent
suck a penis for a dollar, LOL!

yes im mad
Nothing suprised to see a red card, u cant jump like some mad fuck on ball like that, there's other ways to control the ball in situations like that, jumping mortal kombat style will get red and nothing else, Arbeloa is lucky none of the ribs got broken.

Don't know about the red card, but i think without it the game would have ended 1-1.
Ozil just keeps looking at you
Parent
Yellow card max....
was not a red card at all, but man utd cannot complain. Chelsea went down to 10 men for a longer period of time than man utd and came back to tie barcelona in the camp nou.

Also Van Persie was offsides for the first goal and Rafael handled the Ramos header.

United blows

this is how you recover from red cards United:

bayern would beat both
Given the ref's position I guess he thought it was a lot worse. Was it a red? Maybe but either way it killed the game.
