It's not worthy the price (lucky i could get it 27% cheaper, ufffff )
Music isn't so good with them
The mic is fucking up pretty early (not just a case of one piece - a lot of problems with mic.)

Speakers.
Get a life nerd, posting here about some headphones.
steelseries siberia neckband / sennheiser pc350
Gaming: The old Siberia's with the separate mic

Pros
Decent enough sound for gaming
Cheap (they were 5 years ago at least :_D)
Separate mic
Long ass fucking cable
Can be dropped a fuck load of times

Cons
Get incredibly uncomfortable after long use
Volume control can be annoying too quiet/too loud/1 side louder than the other >_>
Padding wears out fast
Not so great for music (unbalanced audio)

Music: Sennheiser HD280 Pro because fucking amazing
Logitech G35

+braided cable (long enough)
+good mic
+good sound
+configurable G buttons

-weak plastic fuck
sennheiser hd598
+great sound
+epic comfort
+sexy look

-price
senheiser hd201
+ to make sound louder
- to make sound lower
For ET when using TS etc I'm using the Sennheiser PC151.

For music etc I use the Sennheiser HD25-1 II http://www.amazon.de/Sennheiser-HD-25-II-Headphones/dp/B000TXRWVS/ref=sr_1_7?s=ce-de&ie=UTF8&qid=1362765109&sr=1-7 usually ran through my CMOY (amp)

Lately I needed something to replace my CX 550's which I used for gym, listening to some music on my clip+ and found some budget IEM by octone http://www.amazon.de/Octone-IEM-Pro-Monitoring-Profi-Frequenzgang/dp/B0055QAH7A/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1360791902&sr=8-1

For the price, great value, comfortable fit but may seem weird if you're not used to behind the ear fitting like this. Sound very well balanced and a nice bass, though not too excessive or muddy which is good.
Plenty of reviews around for the HD25's so cba to write about that, other plus side for them is that every part is interchangeable and you can customize them nicely! check out a few on customcans http://www.customcans.co.uk/blog/
Using Sennheiser HD600 98% of time, all around really good sound for movies and music.
Beyerdynamic DT48 sometimes for music, intense listening sessions. Great midrange, super neutral "real sound", but sadly kinda unconfortable.
For gaming only thing I care about is comfort, so the Sennheisers are perfect. Closed headphones would be nice for lans though.
PC350 everything is just big +
siberia v2 frost blue,

the music is very good with good settings in engine,
Home use:
Audio-Technica ATH-W3000ANV
  • under normal circuumstances my primary headphones for music, however I am keeping them in a box for the time being (waiting to get new amp and dac)
  • pros: warm, romantic sound signature, huge soundstage (for closed headphones), incredibly good looking :)
  • cons: not made for every music genre, I am can imagine having something more balanced across the frequencies for classical music (however still almost perfect for my taste in anything else I listen to)

Audio-Technica ATH-W1000X
  • my back-up headphones, currently my primary
  • pros: warm, romantic sound signature, good soundstage, good looks :)
  • cons: lower frequencies can get muddy in fast bass heavy music (hard rock, metal)

On the go:
Audio-Technica ATH-EW9
  • my main portable headphones, I don't really like IEMs
  • pros: typical AT sound (romantic, with emphasis on mid frequencies)
  • cons: a bit bass-shy, compared to previously mentioned models can sound a bit dry and uninvolved (expectable tho), after few hours very uncomfortable

Audio-Technica ATH-CKW1000ANV
  • I got them like week ago, I am currently waiting for smaller ear pieces because the ones I got with these earphones are too big (and it's incredibly painful when I try to put them on)
  • expecting them to be something similar to W1000X with smaller soundstage and more controlled bass

EDIT: heh, I almost forgot about gaming - I use ATH-EW9 for gaming, with good old Icemat Siberia mic :)

I play a trumpet for over 10 years, can play few simple melodies on guitar and piano as well. Besides playing, I really love listening to music (as you clearly can see :) ), I have a lot of time for that in my job since as programmer I can have headphones on my head basically 24/7. It was only logical to step into high fidelity audio, I will never regret any cent invested in this hobby :)

Good for you, W3000ANV are excellent headphones. You are in the elite company of 2000 plus a few individuals who own these headphones.

Yes, I know they are excellent headphones but they require a proper chain to back them up. They are no hard to drive but are very prone to reveal any background noise, but that comes with their extra sensitivity. Anyway, I am almost done with upgrades, only need new DAC and I am good to go (well, I will also build HTPC for music/movies, but that is not as crucial as other parts like amp, DAC, cables, power conditioning...).

Broke my mouse (using it in bed ain't a good idea), been sucking for years, ET death + same boring maps + plenty of fucktards, too much work for uni, "girlfriend", parties, sunny weather back (at least it was last week), started running, etc.

How was Turkey?

Will be shut down by the end of the month for renovation in order to be restored and disinfected :(.

Look at the walls and the ceiling: 20 years of urine, vomit, beer and many other substances for nothing.. What a shame.
You gotta come at least once!

What is that?
