I found out about them when they were like 0,80$ each but thought it was retarded, atleast i got in early on litecoins, got 80+ of them and they skyrocketed relatively faster than BTC today. Not gonna get rich of them any time soon though.

considering there is a maximum number of bitcoins worldwide and that there is not a maximum number of coins+bills of actual currency, its not going to stop ever
well it will probably make it really soon to a subcurrency, >it is already traded more than some smaller countries currencies<. Ofc nowhere near the amount of eur or usd. I wouldnt say it will never make it anywhere...and a random internet drug money a few months ago silkroad (the biggest online drug market) got closed and its founder arrested and the bitcoin price remained high and went up. It hit $900 today which is insane, so it will probably get more regulated if it continues like that, but whatever happens with bitcoin I dont think it will ever make it to a major or even a minor currency in terms of volume traded.
The problem is more exchanging it for real currency and there's a ridiculous amount of waiting time with for example MtGox.
The whole thing is rather unpredictable and last night when it shot up then crashed back again people were trying to take it out at the peak and then this happened...
If you got a small amount of cash to throw around, it could be worth investing but quite the hassle
I got some not much but I wouldn't recommend it as a mid or long term investment at all (now*) since it has been proven to be extremely volatile and there have been some big thefts
*now the price is to high to buy, unless you got big $$
This was a very awesome long term investment 2 years ago (if you invested $1000 then you would have over $350.000 in net profit now, which is brutal) but now is no longer possible.

cause it's only around $520 when it should be valued around ~730. WIth the iphone 6 coming out I'm thinking as well as actual investors that it's going to reach near $1000 over the next 2 years
With regards to this post I think Apple really need to drastically change their market if they expect to remain in profits. There have been no new technologies and in my eyes the only thing worth buying perhaps is the new mac pro, which is a beautiful device. The iPhone has changed little as has iOS, on top of this the fact that 1 manufacturer (Samsung) has been selling more devices than Apple suggests it is losing ground.
