Well guys, i am sitting here @ work, still damn tired cause I played too much WoW this night. While I was clicking my way through the Crossfire site it came to my mind that the last half a year was really interesting to follow ET and its competition. Eventhough Idle still wears the crown in all its beauty ( I got to admit that - but I hope it will change soon ) I can't remember any other "phase" when the community and the competition was as interesting at is now and has been over the few past months.
But as some of you know I missed like 7 months of ET before Qcon 2006 - and I am interested in your opinion about this seasons Eurocup and the competitive scene itself. Do you also think its damn nice to see games between Cdap and amenti, Idle and netrunners, Team Helix and noll8? - As an addition you can see teams beeing formed like the new "Impact Gaming" Squad that is really promising.
After all its fun and interesting to see what happens next - at least for me ;)

But you are right - eventhough abnormal monkeys was never as promising as this one, in my opinion.
well its true that impact has couple great players but we will see =)
npp :)))
:D..D::D.
RACE etcc??
But EC XI was best =))
Wasnt that the period with the uQ team and 141(players in decimated movie) or was that even earlier. Well if it was
that was nice competition afaik sexiest match was in one of the earlier rounds of a comp with 141 vs uQ further more it was not as active @ LAN as it is nowadays i would say.
This fact makes Idle a bunch of happy bunnies because they'll just need to face new clans in the next EC season. But generally, to the whole community, this is a bad thing.
So no, I’m not really that interested in watching new born clans fighting each other. Maybe next season, if Netrunners, Cdap, Amenti, etc actually stay together until March, then I’ll be interested.
(Btw, if a clan actually manages to beat idle this season, then it will sure be interesting, but I doubt that will happen)
Idle vs netrunners: boring
Helix vs noll8: boring
Last EC was better. More interesting matches, great semi-finals for the spectators i think.
Although idle won with ease because they were 300% active - estonia sucks in football (worldcup time!!!!!!!) urtier senji
But do you really think idle will lose any game this season?
I don't think so.
Even if they don't look too strong they still manage to win.
Zeropoint or cdap(if they play smarter+cooler they got chances in LB) will take 2nd place in EC.
And radar idle did rape there was a smal change for netrunners to win radar. Idle's defence was unpenetratable ;)
btw, cdap will go on after EC and probably 5/6th of the lineup is confirmed to go to CPC2 as well (if we qualify)
