Who of you guys are going to wacken this year?
I`m probably attending although its pretty far ;)

Even though gothic and emo might be derived from the metal scene, they have nothing to do with metal. If you insist on using stereotypes I'd much rather be compared with stuff like Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure or Wayne's World.

Some of those bands are worsipping satan and they cut wrist in their music vids, so pls. emos didint invent wrist cutting, it was the blackmetal guys :(

Tell me which BM bands attending actually have videos with feature cutting your wrists. Besides, BM wants you to kill yourself, it doesn't necessarily involve cutting your wrists. Come to think of it, I should write some lyrics about WoW, since that completely destroys your life as well.

I dont listen BM, its aggressive and i like jesus in normal way, not burning or raped jesus.

And i dont remeber what video it was, lots of tittes and blood.. then some girls started to play violin with their wrists with knifes tho and some violin music started to play, u know synced and stuff...

i try to find that video...

EDit and the guys in that video eat flesh and brains :D

no no no, i like metal, i dont like BLACKMETAL aka SATAN worsip music. its aggressive.. its awfull, makes pain to my ears, BM has allways somenthing to do with satan... that wrist slitting was ment to be a joke, i know people who listen that and smokes weed and takes life chill. so pls.

Actually a more fitting stereotype would be "cut your neighbours throat" festival, since its metal and not emo, but it would still not really fit, since metalheads are usually the nices guys around.

I dont know many people who get violent when they are drunk. I dont know how it is in your country, but our metalhead are mostly non violent, peaceful guys except for the NSBM fuckheads.

it has nothing to do if the music is connected to angels and god or raping virgins and satan..
its just the attitude people have.

Hard to imagine that you dont like a single hiphop/rap song. scale is huge, fast/slow, new/old, white/black,gangta/love, and some songs has metal kinda stuff involved, like nu-metal, thats rap-metal :)

but well, i listen everything.

I will be there one way or the other. Last year i went by train for 9 hours but it was totally worth it, since i got the chance to leave melkor behind at the meadselling...ehm point because of some chick. Lineup this year looks phenomenal as well (except for Lordi and Bullet for my valentine).
Dont believe the official visitor numbers by the way, police told us last time, that there were actually about 90000 people there. O_O

Oh and bring your own "Show your tits and get a beer sign".

after wacken there will be videos of bullet for my valentine performance and them getting booed down for my pleasure, i'm almost certain.
also i will laugh 2x if they go to the black stage and all the black metallers go
"unexpected" then proceed in inflicting pain on the performers.

Still not enough bands that really make it worth my while. I've seen most of the ones I like more than once already. One of the first (and last) Lunar Aurora gigs (here in Holland even!) was enough for another year I guess. :D
