Frieten & Question for non-belgians

Ik gan frieten halen int frietkot.

So i was wondering, how the hell do u explain this to some1 that doesnt speak dutch, or even that isnt from belgium?

I was trying to explain this awhile ago to my clanmates, but i miserably failed :D

wij maken altijd patat van aardappels =) dus het zou ongeveer hetzelfde zijn en frietkot = geen idee, aangezien ik het woord in het ned. niet eens ken :S

in other countries they call it Burger King or Mc Donalds

Tell them you will got to a trailer which sells potatos boilded in oil. Tell them you prefer it with mayonaise, ketchup and onions. Along with a frikandel wich is the mashed brains, liver, kidneys and spinal cord of kangeroos.
