mouse trouble.

Hey.. i just bought my self a new comp.. and everything looked great.

suddently my mouse, mx518 lost its power..

i reboot, and the power was back on.. but now, after a short time, the mouse was out again.

i reboot again, and mouse gets power, but even shorter time goes before the power is off.

now i cant get any power at all on it, even when i reboot,

can anyone help? has anyone had same problem before?

its kinda useless not to be able to use the mouse:<<

Your mouse died

I have a 500 W power supply and it can handle with 18 harddrives + a nvidia sli system + dualcore cpu etc.

you have to feed your mouse with your sweat
my mouse works perfectly on my laptop, so its not dead.
RIP snuble's mouse :'(
try green usb to ps/2 and check if it works

what mobo are you using btw?
I got the same prob but unplug - replug makes it work again
try to plug it into mainboard directly (to main entry) , instead of using extra entry on the side (or somewhere) of ur casing
with razers such problems are common (then the problem is with the mouse cord) but dunno what's up with a logitech mouse
its probably cause something inside your PC is not connected properly
i'd say it's an winxp issue .. not the computer.

snubz, go and start bios .. wait like 1-15 minutes,
of the mouse is still on, then we know it's an
winxp issue .. if so, you probably need to update
some usb drivers..

my mouse had no power before being in winxp xD ..

so it's no mouse issue, neither power supply issue.
I kinda have the same thing, my usb ports/controllers are broken.
I'll get a USB pci card soon because now I have a USB keyboard too, it disconnects too...
The difference here is, when my mouse turns off, it takes 5 secs or something and it's back again, I dont have to reboot ;s
where is that option?
