No negative accel? :o

If i do the math, i should be playing with 470dpi. So i tested 800 and got no negative accel, so i decided to test 1600 and still didnt get neg.accel...

Is this possible? And if so, does 1600dpi gives u any advantage?

how did you test for negative accel? and are you using mouseforce?
i do the "put a can at the beginning, go slow to a spot and fast back"-trick. And dont even know what mouseforce is :D, sounds star wars-ish

WITH STABLE FPS (ABOVE 76 I THINK ) THERE IS NO NEGATIVE ACCEL.

in razer DB 1600 dpi felt much diffrently (more sensitive) than 400 (hard ) . I can't feel that diffrence in mx518 yet ; /

if thats true, i can go to bed now :D

That's wrong you will have negative accel unless your running 400 fps and a very high in game resolution, which I doubt. It's strange you can't notice the negative accel it's very high at 1600 dpi.

u are saying u need 400 dpi + 400 fps to get completely rid off negative acc?
Parent
then is 400 dpi@r_mode 6 + 100 fps (falling to 76 on big servers sometimes ) is ok ?
Parent
what about 400 dpi, r_mode 6 and 60 fps? do i have a lot of neg. accel?
Parent
what about 400 dpi, r_mode 4 and 125 fps? do i have a lot of neg. accel? and i use G5 ;oo

what about 400dpi r_mode 8 and 76 fps? do i have a lot of neg. accel? and i use G5 ;oo

what about 1600dpi, r_mode 7 and 125fps? do i have a lot of neg. accelt? and i user DB ;oo

If you're using 1600 DPI you need a very high resolution/FPS, if you're using 400 dpi you shouldn't have negative accel but not all mice are perfect.
weird im using r_mode 6, 1600DPI, and dont dont get neg accel with that trick.

And i feel as if i have way more control over my mouse now.
