Mouse problems

Ever since I've got my new PC, I've been getting choppy mouse movement (unstable mouserate) using the exact same setting as I had on my old PC with all drivers installed.

PC specs:

AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800+
320GB HDD
1GB DDR2 RAM
nVidia GeForce 7300SE 512MB
Razer Diamondback

My question is how do I fix this?

try setting the usb ports to default, (not 125hz, just default) and plug your mouse into another usb port.
My usb ports are different tbh, with some I can load my mp3s twice as fast onto my creative.

My copperhead broke just before i got new pc, so im using a crappy infra-red mouse, and now thats cutting out to with new pc.. 2 other ppl in my clans mice both broke to within a week or 2 of mine braking
