example: it restores your system back to: before u uninstalled a selected program, and it recovers all the files that existed before u uninstalled that prog, im not sure if it recovers all the rest files, but the prog only, so...its worth a shot :<


edit: put it on another disk, or on a cd?

yes formatted partitions also no key required as you can only get from buying or erm torrent :P

The FormatRecovery tool will allow you to recover files from an accidentally formatted or reinstalled partition. This type of recovery will ignore the existing file system structures and try to search for structures associated with the previous file system.

yup to recover from say c:/ you have to recover to another like e:/ or maybe even to a memory stick like f:/ but it has to be a different drive letter :P
