how to burn dvd`s

Hey.. ive downloaded a few movies that i want to burn on cd`s , so i can watch them on my dvd player @ my tv in my livingroom...

the problem is, i dunno how to make this right.

I tried to use PowerISO, and just burned the ISO file ive downloaded.. that wasnt any success, as my dvd player said: unknown cd.... (dont worry, it is able to read burned cd`s.. im just not doing this right)


Can someone please tell me how i can burn my movies so I can watch them on my dvdplayer?

Hmm i think you need an converter avitodvd

use daemontools
with that u can open the .iso file, extract it to ur HDD and then just burn it like a regular dvd?

dont know how u can burn this format (after extracting) as dvd fromat. As i know u have at first to convert it to dvd. Best programm for that is WinAvi Video Converter. Its the best i think to convert avi to video-dvd.

So u need 2 Progs:
1. to open ISO-File with Deamon Tool or Alcohol 120
copy ur movie to HDD
2. Covert ur movie to a DVD-Video with for example WinAvi Video Converter
3. Burn ur movie as DVD-Video.

i use nero and works fine . Maybe ur dvdplayer cant read those dvd's .

1. Open ISO with Daemon Tools or PowerISO

2. Use Ultra DVD Creator to convert and burn at the same time

3. I recommened using DVD-R and not RW, I tested many different CD typs and it only worked with DVD-R (at least on my dvd recorder)

thanx for help guys

ive found out a way that is suppose to work.

ConvertXtoDvD program, is now converting my movie (takes about an hour),and then ill burn with nero.
