My mate has a problem!
he has a razer barracuda headset, and he also bought the soundcard for it for optimal performance.
BUT the problem is that it sux playing with him, because the echo is massive, as soon as he talks, i can hear his game, but like 3 times as loud, and if i talk i hear myself 3 times as loud!
could the problem be that he has not removed his old soundcard? cause he wasnt able to.
i also know that there are ways to arrange it so that all the sounds he hears come directly into his microphone, and im suspecting that he somehow got that!
suggestions?

thats why you have the echo
Solution is simple :
Open your configuration panel from windows, click on sounds, then microphone. Do Test Hardware. Et voila, problem solved.
( So @ configuration panel click on sounds & audiodevices and then speech. )
