Dynamite surfing in one of the ponds in central Copenhagen, it looks very much like fake, but never the less... very nice idea and add.

Agreed, very well done... Anything related to water is extremely difficult to simulate without making it look fake, but they've totally pulled it off. I, at least, couldn't notice any compositional seams in the clip, even the small drops of water flying high away from the explosion, messing with the camera's focus are modelled.

I bet some advertising agency has had their hands full with the shot. :)

I actually don't know. I read somewhere, that there's a debate going on in some Danish surfer forum whether or not it is real.

I seriously doubt, though, that the authorities would let such a deed go unpunished... Throwing a shitload of TNT into a pond in central Copenhagen and using it in an ad? Unlikely. :p

I heard the pond was only some feet deep, so the amount of water you see in the clip wouldn't be possible. You CAN see some glitches in the water, at least in the explosion the water seems too smooth. But all in all it must have been an expensive bit of digital work.
