windows xp taskbar hiding

is it possible to make the taskbar visible when there's some windows open? like firefox or windows explorer is open, then the taskbar is visible?
cause it dosn't fit at all with my beautiful wallpaper, but I really enjoy the other interface , the gamma and stuff is very balanced and my eyes rest. im talking about windows classic appearance.

You can disable the Taskbar, and when your mouse goes over to where the taskbar usually is, it appears-

So basically when you close all your windows you want the taskbar to disapear? So you will close all your programs just so look at your desktop? Whaaa?

That's almost as bad as people claiming a desktop looks crap because it has icons on it.

nono, when i go to desktop, you see, i have some folders on it, sometimes some stuff I need that isn't in quick launch, i press show desktop. but i don't that my taskbar dosn't match my wallpaper, zomg!
