Well yeah if they're doing something like crystal meth, which makes your teeth rot completely out, keeps you awake for long periods of time some people have hallucinations so strong they start scratching away their own skin I remember on T.V. a guy who shot himself in the face and was still concious cause he was so doped up on the stuff.
