Monitor problem :<

Hi guys,
Recently I bought a new monitor: the Samsung Syncmaster 940BF 19" TFT.
My problem is: sometimes I have horizontal stripes at the top of my screen, which look like this (don't mind my great paintskills):

Those stripes are closer to eachother than in the picture and NOT all over my screen, but only from like 5cm to the top, like in the picture.
It's pretty irritating so if anyone has a solution for this, plz let me know :)

- reconnect the monitor... check for any broken pins
