Fps drops

Me and afew others iv asked have been got huge fps drops, i can barely hold 125 on maps i could have 333fps on 3 weeks ago

Has anyone else been getting them as bad as i have?

my Windows is only 3 weeks old and its not spywear/adwear

Could it be that you used Linux before you installed Windows? Because I heard Linux users simply have more FPS, don't know why, it's just a fact for most people that use Linux (or so I've heard.)

/cg_drawfps 0 is the solution for almost every fps problem, i really cant understand why people arent happy with over HUNDRED fps while i used to play with 20-30 and it was still enough.

i normally wouldnt care your right, but going from 125 to 40-50-60 gives you noticeable lags on my screen

Had same problem.
It turned out to be a too little amount of cooling paste between CPU and cooler. Some new paste and it was top notch again :> Try checking CPU temperature in bios or smthng.


Maybe this will help, though it could be a complete different problem, like a virus ^^

Got the problem too, as 2 friends of mine.
We have Nvidia cards ( 6600 - 7800), and the lags seems to be on inet servers only (I still have the old framerate @ demos and self hosted servers.)

Last pb update ? :s
