Ever since I bought a TFT, I played with picmip 0. I guess I might have played with Trilinear Filtering (that's linear - linear, right?) at one point or the other, but my PC sucks, so I always went for better fps. I don't recall seeing anything abnormal. Maybe my ET was always on drugs ;P
And I wouldn't be surprised if he forces higher Anisotropic Filtering through drivers.

Wait, are we talking about GL_NEAREST_MIPMAP_NEAREST or
GL_LINEAR_MIPMAP_LINEAR here.....

Because at the moment, i'm playing with GL_NEAREST_MIPMAP_NEAREST on r_mode 4, it's very pixelated(is this even a word?) but my xhair is a lot sharper, less blurry than when i'm playing with GL_LINEAR_MIPMAP_NEAREST.

Which one do recommend then?
