because the security of vista isnt that pro at all, i heard, from some lads of my school and work, that XP is almost the same too, and it will cost u pretty much money. But if u are overwhelmed by Vista, u should buy it ;) This is only MY advice.
tbh NO... i installed 1 week ago.. and it sux.. i lost lots of fps...i had pb problems...
but looks a nice windows... for home work... if u wanna play... dont use it
you cant get fps lag because of an other installed windows version in my opinion , and punkbuster problems also the same story , punkbuster is a small map onto your game map and if it mallfunctions , you just screwed the game ;p

The DR-Management sucks, you need to get Licenses for anything. (D/l'd mp3 won't work anymore, movies, Programs, etc.)
MS works together with big HW-Producers like AMD, etc, to make ppl buy new Hardware b/c of the huge System Recommendations (or however you spell that).
MS set all their afford on their new UAC Function, to make Vista having the same Securityplatform as Linux.
Well, didnt work how they wanted to. So they didnt have time to put some afford on HUGE SECURITY HOLES like NAT, BufferOverflows, ASLR etc.

fresh install on a master systeem (quad core, 4gb mem and 8800 GTX) inmediatly getting blue screens after fresh install and installing vidcard drivers
