so here is my story...
I decided to clean my PC from the inside 'n stuff... and to make a very long story short... my PC is fucked up :[
It only gives a orange light... and I can't turn it on... normally when your PC is on it gives a green little light... mine is orange all the time and I can't turn him on :x I think my power supply is fucked up :[ so tomorrow I will take the power supply from my old PC and see if it works...
if it doesn't then I am doomed to my laptop :D which isn't bad at all...
I'm ok with not playing ET for a couple of days/weeks but what fucks me up the most is that I lost all my music and movie's ffs :[ maybe I can get all my stuff back if I manage to get my HDD running on a other PC which will be a tough job because all of the connections 'n stuff...

I cleaned all the FAN's and closed it... didn't lose any parts...
but the problem is I have this button that takes all the electrity of machines in my computer room(dads PC, modem, and all that stuff) and I turned that button of when I plugged out the cables of my PC... and when I pressed that button again... all power in our house was gone... and I think thats the reason why my power supply is fucked up...
can't explain it really... because my English is too bad :p
so you feel sorry for me and you are going to buy a lot of beers for me at the CPC #2 :p
PLEASE for the love of God do not replace your PSU to diagnose the machine if you fucked it up by just opening the case. I'm not being nasty, but it really is not a good idea. It could well be possible that replacing the PSU could make things worse for you (if the PSU is old you have no way of telling if it works and non-branded PSUs have a habit of causing damage - that will be the case if you didn't build your old PC yourself).
Retrieving your data should be simple, if you have the confidence to do it yourself, just whack your disk into your old rig and copy away. If I were in your position though, I would take your machine to somebody to else to fix, somebody who runs a business doing it, at least that way, if something else gets fucked up they will have to pay for it, not you.
about the manual... I can't find it ;x
