Then perhaps some examples of average/good down to the worst. Might be quite nice :).
Noone besides you knows what Dpi is best for you, what Hardware you got, etc. There is no ultimate Configuration. ;)
Btw, you can't gain that much Fps via tweaking your Config. The most you get by Tweaking your hardware Settings.
Wanted to know about the theoretically best "setup" not "settings".
I see new products have "lower latency" and special buttons and all manner of shit. But what really is the difference between my old keyboard and the new ones?
*ediT* I see the answer below :D.
linux or windowsxp with noaccelpatch
400 - 800 dpi
or use 1600dpi and scale it to lower cpi by using windows sens
or if you got crappy crappy pc with 43fps use direct input as it will make your mouse more accurate while getting fps lag.
+ I take that as 125hz mouserefresh and 120 monitor refresh?
How would using a different monitor refresh rate or using a TFT alter the mouse behaviour?
Say for example i was to go from TFT to CRT.
Agree. Q3 engine really wasnt made to render such big maps as ET uses. You can get some extra fps by using a decent config, but most all give the same fps. The interface config has the best theoretical fps settings if you have a soundblaster card etc. Otherwise I would lower the sound settings and that is prolly the best you can get by tweaking ET.
