Ubuntu prob

I've downloaded ubuntu and burned it on a disc, then i set cd as my one and only booting device. I reboot... and nuffin happens.

most burning programs should have that function ;-@

k, i've burned it as a boot image. And it almost works!

I see, that my pc is trying to boot from cd, but he not quite succeed.
All i see is black screen with one white "_"

i have the same prob, i think you have to burn it in some different format.
Insert disc labelled Windows XP Home/Professional.
Why would he want to do that?

OS are very complicated program, and every OS have bugs and etc problems.

Linux is great OS :) I'm using Linux and I'm very proud at him.

ofc in security:
Linux >>>>> Windows

But in programing code isnt possible, do not mistake. And with every system update, programers repair old bugs.

And with "non-clicking" system is difficult for some users(mainly for old Windows ppl )find,repair problems at install,using,etc.
