OpenGl system

"could not open OpenGL system" or smtn like that. you encounter this is many games. my friend downloaded ET and he cant open the game because of this error. I know its graphic related but i dont know what the exact problem is. Drivers? if someone could help it would be great.

i have EXACTLY the same problem, but not with et, it happens whenever i try to open sonicstage (the programme to put music on my mp3 player). so far i have no solution, i messaged sony who said they would get back to me in 1 business day. it's been 14 business days and no response. gege sony :)
