hi2u again,

So my windows activation was being a bitch lately. I reached the 30 day limit and couldn't reboot without losing my old o/s. Ofc I crashed and was forced to reinstall.

So at this moment i'm installing Ubuntu while browsing xfire :D

Linux powha!

ps: somebody post his linux config plz
pps: lol, a freshly installed os without accel, wtf!
ppps: i just found out the linux version of ET is updated to 2.60. i lolled irl

I put in the ubuntu cd, it booted into linux. I ran trough a 6 step install wizard asking me my language, keyboard and which disk I wanted it installed on. Ever since I have been spamming xfire...

ps: seems like its finished! going for a reboot :P

I put in the ubuntu cd, and nothing happens. As i have written before, all i see is a black screen with one white "_"

tried that cd on other pc? you dont actually have to install ubuntu, it just boots to linux from the cdrom and you can use cdlinux or install it.

If you like linux but ubuntu is too noob for you you can try a gentoo live DVD a SabayonLinux. http://www.sabayonlinux.org/

Personally I like that live DVD a lot more than the ubuntu CD... But after install it isn't as easy to use as Ubuntu.

And I missed your partychicks :(.
