No, Mein Kampf and the Great Depression were the main reasons people voted Hitler to power. He promised to fix the economy by basing it around munitions development and assembly and gave the German people an ethnic minority to blame for them getting (unfairly) hammered by the Treaty of Versailles following the armistice.
The book he wrote was full of Nazi propaganda, claiming that the Jews were to blame for everything, I think they fucking knew what they were getting. The Nazis were the equivalent of the British Nationalist Party - there was ABSOLUTELY_NO_ misconceptions as to what Hitler was for.

That is the sad truth, I am a right wing supporter, but by no means the far right. The problem is that traditionally right wing parties are moving towards the centre of the political spectrum, so people's only choice are the far-right nutcase parties.
