hello , we just got a PSP but there's a problem. Is it really possible to download games from internet and put them on your psp afterwards? and do you need a CD with software to install on your pc in order to be able to put music/games/etc .. on it?
anyone who has some knowledge about this , enlighten me please
thank you

Flame OFF
go take a look on www.kk-warez.com
you need to downgrade your psp and you need a memory stick of at least 1gb
gl
anyway real life issues, had 2 famioly members who died, gf broke up, got a new gf now, stopped gaming ages ago and gave overload to le1ko
considering you bought it now from the store - it will have 2.60 firmware+, on worst cases even the newest - which cannot be downgraded to a firmware which enables the stuff you want.
to check your firmware version go to the system menu and search it from somewhere there, i don't remember exactly.
system information , i think.
if you have 2.80 or something smaller - you're in luck
i dunno maybe now there is a downgrader for even higher versions, i guess there should be .
with a downgrader you can downgrade your firmware to 1.5 and then install custom firmware that allows all that stuff that you want - running downloaded iso / cso's etc. I recommend 2.71 SE-C or 3.03 OE for custom firmware -
just check some psp hack sites that will explain it to you , check their forums etc.
www.psp-hacks.com is a good one.
and as for finding games - www.pspiso.com has everything you need - you need to register to see the games section though.
place files into following folders :
PICTURES = image folder
MUSIC = mp3 folder
games will goto into psp/GAMES folder
also this site should help ya with demos and such
