Hmm.
Testet the beta ;) got it. It was not good @ all.
What you see in trailers and so on is just fake.
Graphic is just pixels and nothing more even how much you zoom. @ battle you have to look from far away to be able to control units and from far away you will see only square and you just move them.
The gameplay is hmm well dont know I didint like the idea that creating one unit takes 50seconds so if you do 10 units that about 10min ;) and thouse units are lowest so basicly one shot and they are dead. To create better units it takes +-
2min/unit so I played the game for 2h and 40min with a guy from internet and after 2h I had like 20units or something and the battle was booring ^^ I lost.
(Moving units from A to B .... hmm you can go smoking or something if you move them somewhere ;) specially the big robot who can make buildings)
I recomend Company Of Heroes wich is the best game eva ;) and trye C&C TW demo it rocks too ;)
That sir is because you are playing it wrong. Incompetence is not the sign of a bad game but a bad player, where as c+c 3 you can win with your harvester and like 3 tanks, plus the option not to zoom in and out is a pain in the arse.
Nah i agree its poor graphics but gameplay > graphics anyday.
If you learned to play it correctly those big spiderbots can be built in under 30mins which is the time of a ET map sometimes, use air transport to transport units every where, units should take no more then 5 secs to build, even tech 3. No game should last no more then 40/50mins or its being played incorrect.
Yup, it has a pretty steep learning curve - but the times you mention are way off. Most 1v1 ranked battles last < 30 minutes and the longest 2vs2 i had was an hour.
Well first of all if there even would be a training in the game.
If you want tutorial you have to download videos from website where is shown how to and what building dose what and how to move unit ^^.
Well I did need it, coz I didint know what I need to build to get something, or what unit dose what. You see not everybody was born with walking and talking skillz ;)
Exactly. Besides, I'm not really sure if anyone who didn't play Total Annihilation (SupCom is a 'soul' sequel to that game) will play this in competitions.
Delete SC, install TA. SC destroyed of some of the coolest bits from TA (I love my extra unit mods for TA that added submersible planes - those things rocked) :(
Oh - and I personally love RTS games that take longer than an hour to play. Actually my favourite strategy games are the TBS-RTS hybrid type, and those can take days, so it's not really surprising I suppose. It's just not rewarding if you can build up to the "uber mega killer units" in a few minutes...
ich hass beides bzw mag das genre kann es aber nich
