500hz Problem

Whenever i try to change my mx518 to work on 500hz
I get either blue screen or computer freezes with some line that says something
about usbport.sys or something...

why is it?

I had the same problem when using some old version of usbrate, once i touched my mouse i got the blue screen. Use a recent version of the program you are using.
