logitech mouse problems

so my new mx518 just arrived and i'm nearly finished with adjusting it. but there is one problem. mouse4 and mouse5 the 2 side buttons can't be bind. with my 510 all worked fine. i tried some things in the software but maybe someone of u guys can help or has the same problem as i do.

i need ur help :)

those are binded on my mouse..

just works normal here, in setpoint there is an option to keep the buttons binded to whatever you asign them in windows or to unbind them. Maybe you need to check that box.

But I can't bind the mouse4 + 5 in rtcw :s only in ET :s

thats old. it never worked in RTCW but in ET it does...

erm
then just click on the

4 Generic button
or
5 Generic button

and choose the application you want it to do, there are more applications under the "other" tab

just bind em to a key "x" and then in ET bind "x" for what you want ! :)

ich will die tasten doch in windows als zurück und vorwärts nutzen können da bind ich mir da noch nich F9 un F10 drauf oder wie soll das gehn?

bind a key to those buttons, then use your etconfig and use the key you binded instead of mouse4, mouse5
