Md5 Is a tool to check files for a dignital signature, PB adds the Md5 sums from known / suspicious hack files and adds them to their database. When you have a bad / edited file in your ET directory, pb kicks you b/c the Md5 sum is either known as a hack, or the comparison just failed b/c you edited it.
