another reason might be, it's easier to preaim in defense, so you will always give more hs with mp40 / in defense

often attacking is harder, so maybe it's because of that..

But mainly, if I'm playing axis, I respect thompson much and playing allied I'd like to get an mp40 :)

WITH mp40 you are defending. ENEMYS are running to you.
You just camp and boom headshot and your screen is all over with cum. When you have thompson you need to find enemy,
you need to rush at right time you need to move more.

tbh thompson really have a lower acc than mp40... but its something like 0,000000001 ... It is not true that when u are defending u give more hs, because u may camp... et_ice is a fine example... i got more hs when i play axis[attack]... i think its this shity sound of thompson that make u less concentreted
