well...hate when someone call my fav bands emo etc...

can someone tell me wtf is emo ? if an alt.rock band like lostprophets was alt.rock always one day why 100 fucking noob say they r emoooo...?
1-2 year before i not rly heard about emos... its a new usa gaything like punks?
or
Its about clothing and style? (who care? i like some song of Marilyn Manson but he/she is a fucking gay)
Its about music? (i m sure not. sad songs always were and always will be)

So in all... STOP EMO FUCKING RETARDS!

agree...but donno who count as emo and who not :P and for example Fall Out Boy why called emo? they call themselves alt.rock...and their lyrics fucking good and not sad mainly... :)

well, I kinda like certain "emo" music (panic @ the disco for example), and I don't care if they cut their wrists or not, but "THA COMMUNITEH" doesn't like them, so in journals, well, you get my point ;-)

well lostprophets arent emo they are just sad little welsh boys who need to reinvent their sound

if you want a perfect emo example look for any pictures of tosspot.
basically someone wrapped up in depressing or unhappy thoughts as if it allows for some sort of salvation or escape from reality, typically looking to attract sympathy or affection from others. talks a lot about morbid issues, and other depressing stuff

doesnt wear anything bright (except maybe a splash of pink with plenty of black)
