fps... ?

while playing with com_maxfps 100 I got hugh frame lags... for more than 10 seconly 80/90... but tryin @ com_maxfps 0 I permanent can get > 170FPS...

whats up there?

how to fix it?

need 100 fps & 100 maxpacks for good connection :)

if you watched those maxfps and packets test you can see that there is no difference between 100 and 76 fps at 100 maxpackets

76 fps + 100 packets = 4.8 kb of upload
100 fps + 100 packets = 4.9 kb of upload

i believe something like that were the results, i could be wrong tho, it was some time ago

76 fps + 100 packets = 5.5 kB/s upload, 76 packets/s
100 fps + 100 packets = 7.2 kB/s upload, 100 packets/s

(Measured on an empty etpro server, network interface level.)

The important thing here isn't the amount of data anyway, but the fact that more packets means lower latency.

I guess you got it the wrong way around. 76 fps with 76 maxpackets, or 100 maxpackets respectively, results in 76 packets/s.

i ha da weird fps thing happen last night. for as long as i can remmeber i get really low fps on radar, practically unplayable, like 17-23 fps. then i play it last night and for the first time ever i get ok fps, like 36-40 :p

not trying to be funny... serious suggestion. If you say you lag at 100 fps only, then increase it slightly?

when you try maxfps 101 u got 111 :)
