ET problem!!

After installing et, i come on the server everything is fine, after 15/20 seconds the display freezes. Then after 5 seconds i do ctrl-alt-del and then i come back in the game and the screen turns darker.

Then i can play further but every 30 seconds display keeps freezing. Someone knows this problem. Could it have something to do with an failure of my motherboard not recognising the my processor revision, what is being showed when i start my pc? Hope someone can help me. Thx

I've played for 1 year COD ( UO )
And my screen became also somthimes darker ...
I just closed COD and started again ...
Then it was gone ...
But by you, it is probably always ..

ET Fcked UP, I guess ^^

Screen freeze is normally overheating, a hanging process or a driver problem.

The screen turning darker may just be the gamma change from desktop to game and vice versa.

Ensure all your fans are clear of dust before proceeding with anything. Have a look in the "event logs" for system and application and see if anytthing is popping up as errors!

When you do ctrl+alt+del / task manager see if any other processes are using cpu time other than ET which should be using all of it. Also see how much RAM and page file are being used.

If it has just started happening think if you have changed anything? Drivers, windows update etc
