Shops open normally in London around Easter?

Could someone from UK tell me, are the shops in London open normally on Easter? Mainly between Friday 6th and Monday 9th of April.

A friend of mine was thinking about catching a flight and going shopping in London, but he was unable to find any information about possible special opening hours around Easter. Friday 6th and Monday 9th are both holidays here in Finland.

GL with moving across Oxford Street (or any street near Oxford Circus) at holidays. Also feel free to use Bakerloo subway lines. Might be fun (and crowded).

u think bakerloo is bad? LOL try take central line around mile end area stinky pakis RLY (im not racist)

or northern line anywhere.. hottest train ever :/

tut-tut no no bakerloo is bless .. i live on bakerloo line well truesay my area is open air maybe thats why i find it ok... i hate the tube anyways only use in emergency or when its the only method lol

i saw one lady spraying it before just after the train left mile end she just took it out of her shopping bag and refreshened the whole carriage.. we cudnt stop laughin haha

i.e stonebridge harlesden and bit closer to home willesden (next door lol) but i live in a decent area still.. ealing isnt all that tho isit? ive never been there

well I lived there for about 3 weeks last summer (Surbiton exactly). It's really great place, not so far from city center (like 30 minuts by train which goes directly to Waterloo Station) and some night clubs/cinemas/pubs near the river in Kingston (like 10 minuts by bus). And main advantage - very few non-english ppl there :)
