Deleting files

how do you delete a file when access to it has been denied?

click it with right mouse button and go propertions and there are some things in there where you can put "check" mark on the boxes. Trye that .... (I think im 90% wrong)

Your best bet is to delete it in safe mode (F8 at startup)
My answer would be, NOT. If you can't acces it, I don't think you can delete it.

Somebody had the urge to show me you could use a touchpad without using buttons. I also learned to turn on the internet on this laptop by pushing some weird button! I edited the orignial comment so you can read the whole insult now.

or just boot into safemode and delete it
hmm its just a .dll file so i dont see how it can be in use :/
Actually, most files that are in use on your computer are dll files, they just don't appear in task manager. Try downloading TuneUp Utilities and use the process manager there to see what files are in use, and what program is using them.

i managed to delete it in safe mode :) fucking trojan horse :/ thanks for the help! :D
no need to use safemode. use dos command prompt (without having to reboot or anything) to delete it, has come in handy a few times :>
