interpol, beck, bright eyes, editors, manic street preachers, modest mouse, kings of leon, razorlight, sonic youth, the arcade fire, the hold steady.

That + the aformentioned bands wrap it up for decent indie bands, my favorites are Modest mouse, kings of leon, the fratellis, the kooks, Arctic monkeys, snow patrol, kaiser chiefs, and pixies.

( that's not including bands like radiohead and wolfmother etc. which arent indie ;o )
