I would say the most overrated movie ever, very superficial storyline, no deep plot going on, a short special effects show off movie, i was expecting something as big as LOTR or troy but nothing came up of that greatness!

ofcourse there isn't, it was based on frank millers graphic novel and btw there IS no story line there was a persian invasion, they defended at Thermphylae and they died. the end. atleast there was no cheesy romantic line in it

The movie is great- I like this kind of stuff. I just didn't like the ending very much- I hoped they would die in a close combat and not by just arrows : <. Anyway- it's really worth watching. Especially for those who were always interested in this topic in the History lessons- at last you can see something based on the 'Sparta' matters. Maybe the movie doesn't show the facts as they should be shown but it doesn't really matter while watchin' it because you're just taken into the story which you see.

Just watch end enjoy it.
