ye but joe cole, although i think hes one of the best (e.g. game against werder bremen during group stage) doesnt receive the support he deserves, imo

I agree that Joe Cole is fantastic, its a shame hes been injured nearly all season.
But I dont understand the complaint about english players, I mean 4 players out of 11 is quite good for english teams for example those 4 would all start and then you have shaun wright phillips on the bench.
However look at the other big english teams;
Arsenal - Walcott is their only english player (next season Hoyte too), and he dosent start often.
Man Utd - Ok they have more than half and this is good imo
idd, arsenals philosophy regarding english players is of course not the best but i must admit that i like them because of their ambition to give young players a chance to play in one of the best, if not the best league atm
