Since Gunner went for a smoke, i hijacked his place for a moment. >P Zerender must be the unluckiest person in ET, since he managed to crash his PC in only 5 minutes.

USB headsets are great if you have a bad to average soundcard.

What the USB in USB Headset mean is that the USB is a USB soundcard. IE, it just replaces your old soundcard. Meaning, if you already have a good soundcard it's just a waste. If you have a bad soundcard, you get a better soundcard very cheap.

Just buy creative if you upgrade, no point buying cheap software mixing like aureon or onboard sound.

Keep it simple. Buy a good audio card cheap, buy a decent headset which usually lasts longer then those usb audio headsets.

ye, but I'm not really thinking of buying a new audio card, though mine isn't really good. I'm more looking for a decent headset around 50euros. So maybe if u could give me some advice about that? :>
