vent lag

I seem to be lagging at ventrilo only, my ping is like 20 then every 10/15 seconds it goes up, etc, i don't lag in ET at all and the problem seems to be at every ventrilo, old or new :(

i am on blueyonder/virgin broadband :(

my ping is also 600ms on irc :(cxx322
