I don't know if you saw it before, hope you like it.
EDIT: Be sure you look at feature 1 & 2, it's like a little video of a map and it explain what you have to do for both sides (attack and defense)
imo, such maps will take much longer as 15 minuts (stopwatch mode in ET)
And i think the tunnel will be the hardest part for the attacking team.
The engineering, field ops, medic & covert ops stuff seems really cool.
As you can see the game is almost finnished, hope it will come out soon.

ET:QW might have big maps, but the action is always centured arround the objective. I guess 6vs6 or 7vs7 will be good formats for scrimming. The maps themselves will be aimed for 12v12 public play, so about the same as W:ET was targetted for.
they balance the maps out for 24-32 players is what they said xD
Splash Damage also said the "sweet spot" is 12v12, but that it plays well in 6v6 (or even less).

This game will be awesome, but I can understand were ET players are affraid of. You need to realise that ET was never ment to be played as competive game, but it worked out to be. SplashDamage are doing all they can to make this game attractive for both public and competition players by adding various options to control the game. Build in ETQWTV will make the game open for spectators, modding will be very easy so making changes for competition play is easy as well

+ Graphics are nice
- Too much side side stuff, like all the buildings some classes can build
- Too much spam from arty/buildings/tanks
- Pure SMG aim is way less important than in ET
But I'll buy the game anyway to try it :)
The explosions are so ugly and there was no blood or gore at all.
But you mustn't forget that these videos are pretty old. I hope and expect the game to be great fun!
They work towards a game that will be suited to competition and pubs. They ask clans and leagues what they want in such a game and they inplement these things - it has to be great!
The elements that suck can still be edited by mods.
I loled, i cant belive this guys thinks ppl will play pub for objectives :))))
And in compettition game you dont need huge satisfaction from constructing the bridge :))
