QW:
- new community (bigger than ETs present community for sure)
lots of people from other games will switch over to QW (battlefield, et, just to name 2 of those who will get most ppl in)
and think of all the other ppl coming from other games, because QW is shown on tv etc etc
and SD will also earn money with it so they can host lans and support the game maybe = more prizemoney = more clans = good mgc @ qw = et dead ;))))))
oh and you will need to buy the game (50€)
hopefully this will do smth against cheaters
i play et because it's a nice game and i have learned how to handle it. i won't switch to a totally different game just to win money. anyway u won't be good in quake wars if u were good in ET. (it's a completely different engine(?).....ohhh, i forgot...u already know the class system if u start playing it =D =D=D =D=D= =D=D=DD =D==)
another big disadvantage: many guys don't have the hardware to play the game on a decent level
bought new pc + dsl 16000 = np4me
but i heard now from tsu that bf players are really noob, so they will suck @ qw :P
like their best players dont want tweaked gfx to hide in the grass and they only play the game because of the vehicles ^^
Some people have been playing ET for 4 years now and are kind of tired from it.
I do however believe that you will be good in ET:QW too... I mean, if you are that skilled, it shouldn't matter which game you play. Of course it wont be instant ownage from day to day, every new game takes a little time to get used to.

Budget PC which is OC'ed and bought in 05/06 will be fine. Atleast I get over 60 fps at Quake 4 and ET:QW should be almoust the same. (maybe better becouse the SuperHyperMegaTexture(tm)(c)(r) thingy)
Does someone btw know if the fps is locked in ET:QW like it was in D3/Q4 (before patch)?

et + qw = objectives :P
i think qw will be more like cs or cod, with that crappy crosshair etc.

Dudes dont forget the game is make by id software ... they did quake and wolfenstein so im pretty sure the game will be skilled
