Computer probs :<

My computer won't start. It starts tho, but my display doesn't detect anything :/

all cd - usb - dvd drives and stuff works.. Everything in and on the computer works...

My mouse won't start up, my keyboard and display, since they don't detect anything...

and just yesterday all of these worked fine.


What is the problem, help me out please.

try defaulting your bios take the battery of for 1min and then put it back

I don't know shit about bios :p in comps and i don't even have the proper tools for taking the shit off from the pc and check where the bios are :< .

come to turku and fix it for me! :D

search on your Mainboard for a battery like this: http://www.nickles.de/stories/images/mn/new2/fullsize/reparatur-bios02.jpg

take the battery a few minutes and then put it on your mainboard, than your BIOS are reseted.

or you take the jumper of the cmos clear from 1-2 to 2-3
works also, getting your battery out is more work. It can also be a coldboot problem, try switching off your PSU, and turn it on again with the buttons on back. If its a decent PSU it has buttons. Btw if you dont give any information regarding your system its still guessing. Try to remove one memory module and try to start, if that doesnt work do the same thing again with another one. If those things dont work. Try to replace VGA/PSU/ disconnect hdd's etc etc.

hmm maybe a pbss blocker gone wrong?


On the serious side, sounds like a memory problem. If you have more than one stick of RAM in your pc, take them out to leave just one and see if it boots up, if not, switch the RAM stick with one youve taken out and see if it boots up.
