Most likely vista, because I haven't heard of any other things that could cause this problem.. Try to reinstall imho!

My friend who hasn't played for ET a while now wants to play again but when he tries to play he gets this:
"Came Code (ui_mp_x86.dll) Failed Pure Server Check"
He's got a new PC and has Vista on it, is this related to that? Or if it's not, what then and how to fix?
