i spent 3months with the israeli army in the north of the country and then in the south in the negev desert at the time of the gaza pullout, and yeh, he does. the israeli army is hardcore.

AFAIK, Usa and Israel never faced eachother in a war, it's practically unconceivable as they were and still close allies and friends, add to that the support which usa provided to israel from it's begining and till today.
