It only sucks for guys who have more fps than hz (CRT). Rest is a pure whine.
For example if you had 160hz @ r_mode 6, and more than 160fps, you have smooth game, now with limit there will be empty frames, which will cause erm...laggy image.
I use 100hz @ r_mode 6, and if I set fps less than 100, i get very big frame dropping, aka lagggggg. Tho new changes dont concern me, it sucks for ppl with good monitors and good hardware :V
I agree with you and the half bad solution would be to lower hz, like your 100hz or 125hz and it's not that much of a diffrence 100-160hz than 60-100hz visualy.
I dont play either but sometimes u just have free time or u just feel like playing and if u consider becoming active some day u dont want to play ET with fucked up settings anyway.
