Hi all! This public is realy nice because i got kick after i did the objective.
i think playing for objective make the game more exciting! Are you agree or disagree with me?

If it was a referee kicking you, please give me his name...
Kicking for doing obj is disallowed so i don't think it was a ref/admin. More like pb kick votes from the players

Don't get me started on funwars (aka mixes). They are totally useless for training teamplay - there are no tactics, poor comms, generally awful teamplay.

Play a war if you want to play objective, public is for to train your gamesense and aim.

There are major areas of gamesense you don't get tested on publics because the enemy has no comms or teamplay.

No doubt, but I mean gamesense as in your ability to stay alive for as long as possible. Carefully calculating your ability to take down people and then having enough time to recover for the next "encounter". Maybe not an issue for people like you who have been playing for ages but I still try to improve the way i hear people so i can predict what they going to do.

that has nothing to do with the technique you should be using to play match matches ...and whats the point in training to play pub

the techniques aren't as different you make them out to be tbh, the majority of the time you will defend a position and try and inflict as much dmg as you can before self killing. You do both on public and in a match. Your not training to play public, your training techniques which you can use in a match as well. I mean when someone has caught your team off guard and your the only one left with no comms as to where people are, you only have your gamesense and the instincts you've honed from public/wars.

As for the guid thing, I did ask and he said it was possible (guy i asked makes hacks) and he said he would do it for me but obviously I didn't push because me wanting to look clean and respectable these days, I don't talk to wrong un's like that!

I agree Us4rmy, but it's just not acceptable by the majority of the community to play objective on a highskill public. You can practice teamplaying as a medic quite well though - just latch on to one of the better players and keep his ass alive.

playing ET for the frags is like playing GTA for the taxi missions. Its fun for a while but gets boring after some time. On top of that, telenet is pretty boring since there is little teamplay and evry1 camps like mad. (no offense rafiki :P)

It is useless if u want to train ( unlike evantej said), since ET isnt made for the way ppl play it on telenet most of the times. U need to overcome camping with teamplay, not by superhuman aim.

Used to get annoyed when i got camped and used to blame my aim, now i realize that the only thing u can do is get as much damage as u can and count on ur teammates to pick u up.

but on ffa people dont pracc whole gaming factors. they gain teamplay, gamesense and stuff on clanwars, mixes and others. let them play for frags/aiming on ffa, LIKE THEY ARE DOING WHOLE THE TIME. pls dont change they way of river.

ur missing the point. Im just saying that i, me, myself dislike those server and think its a pretty dumb way to play, because ET isnt made for fair 1vs1 or 1vsmore action. The camper / defender/ spawncamper has a way too high chance of winning the fight for it to be a good aim practice.

It might be a good practice to overcome hard situations, but u get those on obj pubs aswell, while on obj pubs u learn other stuff ontop of that. Obj pubs are way more diverse regarding situations and different playstyles.

pub = fragging to some degree, but ET isnt made to be fully dedicated to being a fragfest. The best pubs are those where u have a mix of obj and fragging.

stopwatch-server are for laming and frags and campaign-server are for objective. Sounds as simple as it is. When you want to play objective visit a campaign-server like one of the Hinrtot. there you will never get blamed for doing objective.

you want obj? dont play on ffa, but clanwars.
if you come to ffa guys environment, imo stick to their rules
rules, which cleary say - no obj.
dont argue with them, just dont do obj.
if i want obj i go play with my clan. on ffa im mainly praccing aim. i dont rly like when someone makes obj on ffa.

Yes, no-obj is senseless shooting which i get bored of pretty fast. but do you rly wanna do obj, eventhough 15 other guys want to play fulltime? why do you do to them? you want to make them sad, angry or what? what did they do to you that you want to punish them so much by spoiling game?

err guys... I read all coments and i think if you kemp and just waiting for enemy and shot it's not so exciting - it's like CS. But we have a nice game called et. Over the times i think it's borring to kemp:S. i dont want that et will look like CS :)
