.. I like movies, parties (electronic music), skiing (I prefer it over boarding), water-skiing, inline skating and other sports.

Not really. If you know english you pretty much know norwegian, just gotta learn the translation of the words.

:D could be cuz you haven't studied it! Anyway the sentence structure is pretty simple in both I guess, I'd say swedish was pretty easy language to learn so one can understand it "okay" (and understanding norwegian some comes as a bonus =)).

It is! Just gotta remember that in norwegian the negative adverb (ikke) comes after the verb (har). In english it's before (Don't have). Like in german! (Ich habe nicht)

swedish and norwegian are pretty similar languages and we have to study 3 years of swedish in school (I studied 6).
