Whichever country you are from I am fairly sure that your national team players fail to score better goals than for example our goalkeeper.

I'm from Belgium and I've to admit that our national team sucks monkeyballs atm... We were good once, remember Mexico '86.

But honestly I don't think the Estionian team has a chance... maybe if the English players underestimate Estonia (they will prolly) and if McLaren uses certain players on unusual positions

What gave you the idea that I honestly believed that Estonia were the favourites heading into that match?
I think we scored like 2 goals in 2006 in total or smth. But the team is on a wonderday capable of surprising anyone.

Doesn't sound much like the Estonians took the time rearrangement too seriously by FIFA...I don't know when Scotland first arrived at the Stadium, or first saw the below standard floodlights in operation. Maybe they brought it up the night before and FIFA didn't rule on it until the morning, dunno.

WNBA is the NBA for Women. I can't recall any players playing in both WNBA and NBA.
As for the WNBA. It is a lot, and I do mean a lot, less popular than the league would want. They actually have NBA stars promote WNBA, but nothing seems to have worked so far. It is not considered an elite league by most sports fan, but rather a joke.

I was talking about WNBA in particular... Most of the players are playing 2 seasons... 1 season in Russia (the other big league) and 1 season in WNBA.

It are the best players who are playing in the WNBA... so why wouldn't it be called elite?

Neither WNBA nor MLS are popular in USA. I am not saying that WNBA is not a strong league, but it is nowhere near popular enough to be called a success story in the same sentence with NBA and NFL.

errr, daft post Tossy :(

He was probably our best performer last summer along with Hargreaves and was involved in every goal we scored (except Joe Cole's one man marvel strike).

He's also gauranteed to give his all for the cause while playing for England so why not give him a go?

With Owen still being a bit iffy, hopefully Steve will remove his head from his arse and play Crouchy and Beckham's delivery to that lanky sod will be a major threat.

Good tactics imo!
